New Jersey born guitarist Walter Trout is now based in Huntington Beach, California. "Face The Music" is Trout's last release on Provogue as he is now signed to Ruf Records. Walter Trout has had huge success in Europe since he released his first solo album in 1990, "Life In The Jungle".
"Face The Music" was recorded while on tour in 1999. The Free Radicals are James Trapp (bass), Bernard Pershey (drums & percussion) and Paul Kallestad (Hammond B3 organ). All of the tunes are originals. Some of the great tracks are "Got A Broken Heart", the ten-minute slow blues of "The Reason I'm Gone", "On The Rise", "Come Home", "Marie's Mood" and "Tired Of Sleeping Alone". As Walter says "There ain't no law against having a good time".
